Who is Team 3077

Zinc Iridium is the Upper School Robotics Team at The King’s Christian Academy in Callaway Maryland. We began competing in the FIRST Tech Challenge in 2008 and in the VEX Robotics Competition in 2009.

VEX Robotics Mid-Atlantic Championship – March 2013 – Design Award (qualifies for 2013 VEX Robotics High School World Championship)

Maryland FIRST Tech Challenge Championship – Feb 2013 – Judge’s Citation: Future All Stars, Member of Winning Alliance

CSM Southern Maryland VEX League – Feb 2013 – Amaze Award Winner, 4th out of of the field of 30 teams, Member of 2nd seed alliance.

FTC Naval Academy Qualifier – Jan 2013 – PTC Design Award Winner, Finalist for the Rockwell Collins Innovate Award, 7th out of the field of 28 teams, Member of 4th seed alliance.

FTC Southern Maryland Qualifier – Dec 2012 – Finalist for the Rockwell Collins Innovate Award, 4th out of the field of 16 teams, Member of 3rd seed alliance.

Battle by the Bay VEX Tournament – Nov 2012 – Sportsmanship Award, Member of 2nd seed alliance in Division 2

Northwest Maryland VEX Robotics Competition – Oct 2012 – Judges Award, Member of 8th seed Alliance
